Commercial Christmas display companies for the most part utilize 50 Christmas light sets because Of their sturdy construction and reliability. 100 Christmas light sets are becoming less and less important because it’s construction equals two sets of 50’s Wired together between the 50th and 51st socket. If that wire should loosen, it will cause the back series to fail or go out.
- 200 Milliamps equal a true superb right lamp. This superb right lamp assures Maximum brightness and clarity.
- Amperage consumption is extremely important to calculate to ensure ample Electrical service required. It is recommended that a certified electrician review all Estimates to ensure a customer’s plans conforms to the National Electrical Code.
50 Christmas light sets equal 0.200 Amps per series. Therefore, when end connecting:
- Three Christmas light sets of 50’, you will reach 0.600 Amps.
- 100 Christmas tree light sets equal 3 sets of 100’s at 0.400 Amps equaling 1.20 Amps.
- Lamp lock design ensures the locking of the lamp base into the socket
- Preventing premature Christmas light set failure due to loose lamp connections.
- Internal Lamp Lock (unlike external lamp lock) will prevent the locking Mechanism from snapping off when getting caught in the foliage, or when replacing a Christmas lamp in the socket.
- The twist proof Christmas lamp prevents intermittent lamp failure by preventing the Christmas lamp leads from breaking the connection with the socket contacts. Therefore, it contributes to making your Christmas light set maintenance free and Vandal proof.
- Balance design – on a Perm-O-Snap 6” spaced Christmas light set, you should look for a 3” lead and a 3” tail. When you end connect your Christmas light sets, you will be back at 6” spacing, which eliminates excessive lead cord, which you would have to wrap back into the foliage.
- Replaceable 3 Amp Fuses – if by some chance you overload or excessively end Connect your Christmas light sets; the first Christmas light set that is plugged into the outlet will be the set that will blow the fuses. By having replaceable fuses, you no Longer lose the Christmas light set…you just pop in two new fuses.
- Wire twist should be 2X per inch (hand twisted). This is extremely important inasmuch as you will not have loose wires hanging between the Christmas Lamps. Christmas Lamps – burn life should equal 2,500+ hours.
- Color Pigmentation of Christmas lamps should be UV treated for colors to last longer. Christmas lamps with a blue pigmentation (Pink, Purple) have a tendency to fade faster because they will burn hotter.
